Adventurous day at work
Yesterday.. I had to go down to the B2 storeroom to get some premiums.. I asked Adeline to accompany me there.. I went to the mailroom to get the trolley and we took the cargo lift to 2nd level.. Then we took another lift down to B2.. The lights were on when we got there.. I was actually supposed to call the security to turn on the lights but since they were on.. I dont have to.. The B2 storeroom is a small area in the carpark.. We walked over to the storeroom which is 200m away from the elevator.. We unlocked and unlatched the door.. We searched around for the stuff that I needed to get.. Suddenly.. The lights went off.. Congratulations.. It was pitch dark.. To the extent that you cannot even see your hand if you put it in front of your face.. I panicked but was relieved that adeline was there with me.. I thought only the store light was off.. Mag has told me before that the security would sometimes turn off the lights and it would be pitch dark.. I thought she meant that there would be some light outside.. We made our way to the door slowly and realised that the entire B2 lights were turned off.. Argh.. I finally understood what she meant by pitch dark.. I took out my handphone to call the security but there was no reception.. Argh.. At the most crucial moment.. I asked adeline to checked if hers had reception.. Fortunately.. there was.. I called the security and told them to turn on the lights cos I was at the storeroom.. It seems like eternity for them to turn the lights back although it was less than a minute.. We quickly took the stuff and went back up.. I wasnt able to get over it until hours later.. I was really lucky dat adeline was with me.. Later in the day.. Mag asked me to go down to the store again.. Obviously I asked adeline to accompany me.. When we were at the storeroom door.. 2 lights went off.. I quickly asked adeline to call the security cos I was afraid they might turn off all the lights soon.. I got the stuff as fast as I could and went back to the office.. Spooky..
