didnt manage to find my keys in the morning. total sian-ness. have been trying to think of a solution.instead of going to the office, i went straight to raffles place. assist the gals with the setup, settled everything before i left. it wasnt long before i left the office again to raffles place to help with the samples distribution.right after, i had to rush back to the office. i managed to finish what i had to. i took a lift from the logistics cum printing cum store guy, sort of like a manager of the company. he dropped me off at bras basah. the locksmith uncle managed to fabricate a key for me. i was so so so glad and thankful. e uncle is damn good la! pro! i like.i took a 30mins walk from bras basah to bugis mrt. then, i took a train to raffles place. my day didnt just end there. i still had to go back to the office to keep the petty cash box. by the time i got home, it was almost 10+pm.

i lost my keys..!!!
i have no idea why was i so tired.. i fell asleep at 10+pm. cant believe it.i woke up this morning at 6.22am. called for a cab. arrived around 7.20am at the office. BUT i couldnt find my office keys. tried looking for it before i left home. i tot my boss will be in the office but he wasnt. GREAT! so the logistic guy is here but i dont have the keys. and the event is starting at 9am. i tried calling my boss but to no avail.i knew i had to think of something. i called marx and asked if i could go by his place to borrow his keys. he agreed. my saviour. but that was not it. now, i have the keys to the office. how about the keys to the store. i was hoping my boss left the store keys in his office. and thats provided he didnt locked his office.i was back at the office. while i was unlocking the door, i was thinking and hoping that he didnt lock his office. i was so glad he didnt and i managed to find the store keys. yay!! we grabbed everything and headed off to raffles place park.after setting up, i roamed around while waiting for val. we had brunch meeting at bk. then, i went back to assist with sampling. all the samples were like gone in less than an hour.on the way back to the office, i called amos to ask if he had a spare key for one of the most important lock. he didnt! he gave me the permission to go home to get it. i spent 45 mins going home, 45 mins looking for it and another 45 mins to go back to the office.at 4.45pm, im back at the office. still without the keys. tried to open the lock with whatever i can find but i failed. shall go home and tear down my room. *sobs*i just counted the number of keys i lost. eleven. i think im the only one with so many office keys. but thats not the point. sians.

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY REYERS!!! wishing you with all that you wished for.. health. happiness. career. love. loving you to the bits..!!! =D at 9am on a sunday, i was at expo. waited quite abit for my client and boss. after the recee, we had a 2 and 1/2 hour meeting. val wasnt able to attend cos she needed to send her brother off at the airport. all the information has taken up most of the space in my brain. i can see that my days to come are going to be really busy.after the meeting, i met keong at the interchange. we bought some snacks and lunch home. the initial plan to go swimming was cancelled. so we spent the whole day playing games on lappies.we had dinn at granny's place. visited my mum for awhile cos i wasnt feeling well. before going home, we made a trip to the interchange to run some errand for my aunt.

i passed my prac 2..!
took another hour of nap before we went out for a stroll. i didnt want to feel too sleepy and tired cos i was having my pratical lesson at 10.20am. i left shortly after. keong came to pick me up. we had macs for breakfast. havent had breakfast with anyone in the longest time. i was 15 mins late for my lesson, all thanks to work. appreciate it that keong tried to rush. all the rushing made me feel nervous and uptight. i could still feel my heart pounding fast when i got on the bike. i started the lesson from right turn cos they had already finished left turn. as expected, i was wombly. my first turn wasnt too successful. throughout the lesson, i made a couple of mistakes; didnt check clearly to ensure traffic was clear, fail to give way to pedestrian at zebra crossing, stopping in yellow box when the traffic light was red.. i knew i was going to fail. i was the forth person to be called. just in case you were wondering, the first three person the instructor called passed the prac. the instructor asked if im a chinese and i told him "yes." he replied "you go to prac 4, jump 2 prac" i laughed and walked off, still puzzled. i opened up my book and i realised he passed me. quite surprised. yay!!! which means i can go to prac 3..! keong sent me home. we spent our day playing games in my bro room till i was sleepy. i fell asleep before he left.woke in the evening for dinner.oh! i managed to complete cake mania, all 48 levels from downloading the 60 minute free trials. haha! which means i didnt have to buy the game.

rey's independence celebration
i woke up reluctantly. i was feeling so unorganised, i just had to make a trip to the office. spent like more than an hour in the office and i still havent got everything settled.
i left the office around 3.15pm, took a cab to wisma. got rey's birthday pressie and headed off to meet her at harbourfront. i did something damn dumb, im not going to mention. anyway, we were supposed to exit where the interchange was but somehow, we exited to the mall.
we had lunch at macs before going to the supermarket to get some extra stuff. then, she accompanied me while i went to buy her birthday card. i know its dumb but it would be just as obvious if i told a lie. and its just a birthday card which i thought was nothing to be secretive about. in fact, she chose it.
we took a cab to the entrance. took a couple of pictures while waiting for chanel. we spent the afternoon playing a couple rounds of mahjong, watching tv and taking a stroll to the beach.
in the evening, py started the fire at the bbq pit. everyone else came, her family and friends.
later in the night, yx, joan and i slept while eu, cai, reys, ying ying, chanel and py played mahjong. was woken up by reys at 4am to play games together with them. was feeling reluctant cos i was cold. the damn blanket has holes in it and how is supposed to keep people warm. it defeats the purpose though it does help a teeny weeny bit.too lazy to edit the pics. so here goes..

meetings
e morning meeting was postponed again, to 5pm. after i drafted the SOP as requested by my boss, i set off to look for a digicam with at least 3 megapixel with video recording up to 30 mins. after some searching around, i managed to get one which falls under the budget.
happily, i went back to the office. before i could warm up my seat, my boss reminded that we have to leave for a meeting at 2.30pm. he dropped us off at the client's office. during the meeting, we realised the camera wasnt good enough. we could video record but without sound. =(
we were supposed to go for another meeting at 5pm but my boss couldnt make it. and cos of that, i got a good scolding.

i dont know if its the trend in the company, influence by fellow colleagues or maybe a curse within the company..? im sick and tired of my job already. i find my job and duties so stagnant. i've been snacking like nobody business. stressed yet bored!went for a meeting which i wasnt informed beforehand this morning, when i just reached my office building. after the meeting, i was left to rot in the office the entire day.im so addicted to cake mania. happened to come across in yahoo games. i've been playing so much, im feeling damn giddy now. 6 more mins to go.. yay!oh! before i forget.. met up with the gang for steamboat at beach road. yums!! we were all so full after the meal. lyd just love prawns. =p
after the satisfying meal, we went to millenia walk for a drink. keong came to join us as well. we spent like the next hour or so just catching up. then i had to make a trip to pasir ris cos of my stoopid cuzy. shant mention it.. i think i have complained enough. have yet to claim transportation fees from her.
thanks lyd and jav for organising! we shall meet up soon again. =)

keong came to pick me up. it rained when we were about to go out so we took the shuttle bus instead. we had ban mian at century square's food junction. then, we took a cab to his kai ma's shop in jurong.we were an hour late for our appointment. after the facial, we took a train back to my place. we went to the supermarket and bought lotsa junk food - cup jelly, yoghurt, chocolates, mashmallow, tasty, pocky, ritz, crackers, chicken in a biscuit, zoo land printed biscuit (reminds me of poly lecture.. haha). i was quite sad when i couldnt find the meiji's biscuit stick n strawberry cream. but i managed to get it from some japanese concept shop selling alot of rubbish. (like the previous 1.99 shop)dinn was at jack's place. he had chicken and mushroom baked rice and i had black pepper crayfish pasta with fettucine. the crayfish pasta tasted exactly like cze char hor fun. if you have the craving for western food, it might not be a good choice. personally, we felt the baked rice was bad. swensen's baked rice is so much better.sunday.
i met keong. was supposed to meet for breakfast before my lesson but as usual, i was late. he sent me for my lesson and waited till i was done.
i was the only girl for prac 2. it was quite bad initially. i forgot like everything after missing in action for a month. i actually miss a turn, so embarassing. acceleration was really bad. the gear lever seems to be stucked whenever i try to kick it up. but towards the end, i think i got the hang of it. overall, it was better than my first attempt. but as expected, i failed. i think i should go for lessons more frequently.
after 100mins of being under the blazing, hot sun in sweater (cos i didnt know i couldnt wear singlet), i was feeling so sticky. we went to get lunch before going home.
later, we went to millenia walk. i bought my jelly beans. and keong got me sins chocolate - tiramisu, lychee martini and pretty in pink. heavenly! i think im addicted to sins chocolate. i eat them almost every week. how can you resist such pretty yummy chocolates in those beautiful boxes?
next, we went to bugis village. i went to a couple of shops and managed to get a white bag that i really fancy, a lil costly though. i was so spoilt for choices cos they had like so many nice bags. (the shop is at the main street of bugis village) most of the bags are from zinc. so if you're looking for bags, prob bugis village would be a good place to check out.
with that, it was time to head home for dinn.

its friday!
my day was pretty busy yesterday. was doing research the moment i got to the office till almost noon. then, amos, val and i went to my client's company for a meeting.
the meeting lasted like 2 hours. im starting to feel the pressure and stress. its always the case. i hope i dont screw things up and everything will be just fine.
anyway, i got a new mmc. yay! havent transferred the stuff. will probably do it in awhile. so next up, i'll prob get another batt.
im so looking forward to end of the day cos i'll be meeting lyd, bert, jav and choonz for dinner. havent met up with them for a long time.
im so glad the weekend is coming. at least, i can rest my mind and not think about work for awhile. when monday comes, i would have to face a battle. till then, im a happy girl for now! =p10:40am------------------------------------------------------im so bored and hungry.. its 9 minutes to 3pm but everyone is still busy working. i thought i had a lot to do but it doesnt seem like it. at least i have settled whatever i have to do for today. borrrrrrrrrriiiiiiggggg..2:53pm

i just came back from bishan not long ago. theres a bone scan at rjc. i followed amos there to assist in setting up. things werent very smooth. delayed like 45mins. felt bad that the participants had to wait.back in the office and as usual, before i start on some serious work, i would surf the net.been pretty fedup with my N70. its been lagging so so much. i have to wait on average 15 - 30 seconds for every single shyte i pressed. and the battery simply doesnt even lasts me for a day. according to the specs; 3 and 1/2 hour talktime. how pathetic..! but it seems like im the only one complaining about the phone, 4 of my friends who are also using N70 seems to have no problem with it. unlucky me!!! i think i'll die of frustration very soon if i dont get a bigger mmc and new battery.

late for work!
i was late for work.. as in really late. i woke up at 10.25am. called valerie and she was already on her way. i wondered if my boss was around in the office. i didnt messaged him that i'll be late, hoping that he was out of the office.i quickly showered and prepared. since there was no shuttle service, i decided to take a cab. it wasnt easy to get a cab from the main road at my place's side gate. got a cab at around 11.30am and somehow, the uncle told me ecp would be faster. halfway through the journey, it started raining heavily. so heavy that i couldnt even see the road in front.arrived at the office at 12pm and my boss was around. he did messaged me when i was in the cab. i told him to deduct half day from my annual leave. =/like i havent wasted enough time.. my computer refused to work. i wasnt online. realised how much i relied on the internet. i deem a computer to be useless if theres no internet connection. i slacked for an hour while waiting for my boss to get it retified.just when he did, my colleagues and i went out for lunch. after lunch, i was simply working my heads off. i managed to finish what i have been owing. left the office only at 8.30pm.

happy birthday kip and edward!!!
i was confused with some matters.. but i got it solved. grace gave me a good piece of advice. thank you! i appreciate it greatly.at 8pm, all my colleagues - constance, kip, marx, wuyu, edward, valerie and andy(ex-colleague) headed to partyworld at boat quay to celebrate kip and edward's birthdays. other ex-colleagues like jay, jordan and celia came too.throughout the 4 hours, i sang 1 song. most of the attention went to constance when she sings. simply marvellous!!! damn power! i didnt know the echo was turned off until i sang. but constance could sing so effortlessly.at 12am, the cake was brought in. took a couple of pictures, not very clear though. we left the place at 12.30am and everyone went their separate ways. my cab fare was like $19.30. and i thought the uncle drove fairly slow, even after i told him i was in a hurry.got scolded as expected from my aunt. *nagging* you can call me beccarella. and just in case you were wondering, indeed, i went home in a pumpkin. =X

i had a bad sunday.i fell while walking up the stairs. the place was so dark, i missed a step. i got a minor abrasion on my right knee and a scratch on the front cover of my handphone. not very sure if the gmask had protected it well. *heart pain*mondays are so boring. i cant wait for pay day cos im broke already. *sobs*i want to colour my hair and go for bike lessons. in 3 days time, i would have stopped lessons for a month. i'll prob be so wobbly, i need another 2 to 3 more lessons to pass prac 2. to think of it, my bro just registered 3 weeks ago and he already passed prac 3. what a lousy sis! but then again.. he used to ride illegally. shall be more enthusiastic cos im the only one who hasnt passed prac 2. hur hur.. angela and amily are both at prac 3 now.

saturday. i got to the salon, juz 4 hair at far east at 12.30pm (appointment was at 12pm). reys came by at 1+pm cos she wanted to watch superband. my hair wasnt suitable for smoothering, so i had to do rebonding. rebonding with the normal cream would cost $135 and rebonding with shiseido cream (said to be the best rebonding cream) would cost $180. after much thought, i decided to pay the $45 difference for softer and smoother hair.by the time we were done, it was almost 5pm. reys commented that my new hairstyle reminded her of me when i was in poly year 1 - super black long hair that looks scary. thanks har!we quickly took a cab to hougang mall. i had to see that things are progressing fine. i took a couple of pictures and waited till the operator came back from lunch. then, reys and i took a cab to her cousin's place to see her nieces (twins). how adorable!!! one of them was sleeping. reys was lucky that the one she dotes on more is awake. we took a couple of pictures and spent a lil time playing with her.we left her cousin's place before 8pm, made our way to bukit batok cc. met eunice and cai at the entrance. it wasnt before long that we realised we were at the wrong place. together, we walked to the train station and waited for joan.the place looks a lil like a country club, with waterfall features and all. the room in which the party was held at was dimly litted with red lightings made up of wine glasses, glass/plastic pieces and bulbs. one side of the wall was filled with shelves of wine bottles. on the opposite side, there was a lil stage with instruments and mikes. looking over to the right side, theres a bar counter and a long table of food.eunice, cai and i left shortly after the "cake ceremony". i was talking to eunice when we saw keong sitting on his bike (damn surprised), talking on the phone. he gave me a ride home. thanks a million!

fireworks
friday was simply busy. my boss had taken 2 days off to go on a trip to Australia with his family, and will only be back on sunday.
i was meeting reys that evening so i had to finish everything by 6.30pm. lucky thing, the delivery guy came early. i was at the store from 4+ to 6+pm. i moved all the stuff that we need for the event on saturday from our 3rd level store to our office on the 4th level. with ts' help, i was quite sure i didnt missed out anything.
i left the office slightly after 6.40pm, walked to the train station and took the train to cityhall. first time in my life, i see so so so so so many people at cityhall. it was so crowded, there was an announcement saying "the train station is crowded. if you are not taking the train, please leave the station." i even had to queue to scan my card. there was simply not much space to walk.
according to reys, its not the first time. she had seen the similar situation a couple of times, usually fridays. we sat at cafe cartel, had some finger food and salad. all the time we were there, there was a continuous string of people walking from the train station towards the esplanade direction. its like almost half of singapore is at cityhall. reys and i got dizzy looking at them. reys said "its like house of the dead or something (cant really remember the show title), whereby everyone is walking one direction, towards the dead."
we managed to catch the fireworks at 9pm sharp, not the full view cos there was some obstruction; a lamp post and some trees. took a few pictures.
while the fireworks was going off, we called for the bill. we predicted the train station would be full of people right after the fireworks. i bet the waitress must be cursing me inside. as expected, a number of people walked towards the mrt station just seconds after. we quickly made our way to the train platform.
on my way back in the train, i caught a glimpse of fireworks at aljunied. i was quite surprised cos reys told me that the fireworks "presentation" would last only 10 minutes or so.
if you look carefully, you'll see the fireworks, a lil faint though
it comes down like rain or gold dust (whichever you prefer), very pretty!!!

irritants
i seem to get irritated with everything around me.. the weather.. traffic.. people.. i feel like i dont understand myself more and more each day and thats probably the reason im irritated. and also, somehow my brain has stopped functioning. i cant seem to analyse, i just cant think for nuts.the weather hasnt been too great lately.. rainy morning, sunny afternoon. the clinics must be earning quite alot lately.traffic has been a killer everywhere. traffic jams.. sometimes traffic jams are caused by kpo people. why is that so? i used to wonder why is the traffic moving so slowly when theres an accident BUT the roads are not obstructed. bcos humans are curious by nature and there are kpo people who deliberately slow down so they can have a better look at whats happening.everyday, i take the train to work. and i observed something.. it shocked me to see guys snatching seats from gals in the train.. what an ungentlemanly behaviour! sometimes, in a row of seats, you see only 1 or 2 gals sitting and a whole lot of other gals standing. not that i give a damn cos my train ride to work takes only 30mins. and i dont mind standing throughout. and just so happened.. my favourite public transport would be the train. the travelling time between every station usually takes around 2mins. and theres no traffic jams although there might be disruption. but its minimal. on the other hand.. i hate taking buses most. cos you dont know how long do you need to wait for the bus. some bus drivers love to jam on the brakes without considering about the safety of the passengers, esp elderly people. its so ke lian when you see grannies almost falling, holding on so tight to the poles while the driver is happily jamming on the brakes. and not forgetting traffic jams. lucky for me, my bus ride is only 5 mins. from the mrt station to my place.

national day eve
its 7.40pm now.. im still in the office waiting for my delivery guy. -_-hmm.. lets think more positively. at least i dont have to work tomorrow. yay!!

im kinda excited about it, not bcos its national day. okie.. we must be more patriotic. maybe a tiny bit. its my first public holiday since i joined the company. i know its lame.. but i remember the times when i was at my previous company. everyone would cheer at the thought of public holidays but not me. (cos im not paid)my colleagues were just talking about national day and fireworks over lunch. one of my colleague was teasing and she said we cant miss the fireworks cos its like our money. i must say the fireworks are like the main highlight of the whole event. you just dont feel it by watching it from television. its so unenjoyable! but on the other hand, the thought of having to get a cab after the event puts me off.well.. im so bored. im just blabbering my time away. i want to go home.. =\

i think it was friday that angela came by my office for an interview. after her interview, we went to have lunch at everton park, as usual.it was nice meeting up with her, after so so so so so so long. havent really seen her or talked to her, moreover going out together with her.after the late lunch, my day was hectic. i was meeting reys 7pm at city hall. it was almost 7 when i left the office so i thought i should take a cab. i tried to take a cab from the usual place but all the cabs were hired. i saw a few empty cabs across the street so i thought i would have better luck if i crossed over to the other side. and just when i did that, you can imagine what happened. needless to say, i saw 2 empty cabs from the opposite side of the road. what luck! i quickly crossed the road, hoping i'll be in time to flag it down. but it was too late.instead, i walked up the street. (already a lil frustrated cos 20mins have past) a cab comes along and stop 50m away from me. i was so happy. then i noticed this indian lady walking up the street and i mumbled to myself "no, please dont! please dont!" she walked past the cab and i felt a lil more relieve. but guess what? she suddenly changed her mind and turned around. argh!!!before im accused of being impatient. it wasnt because of me and myself, i was feeling so because reys is meeting yx and joan at 7pm and she already reminded me not to be late. i was so irritated and frustrated. i received a message from her saying that i would have reached long ago if i took the train. true enough! at that very moment.. i promised (almost sweared) that i must get my bike license. i had enough of traffic jams, uncles who cant drive properly and loves jamming the brakes, having to wait for cabs and buses.. riding is dangerous but i guess it feels good when you can make your way through the rows and rows of cars lining on the roads.when i was almost reaching, i called to ask if she was at the taxi-stand. almost in a screaming tone, she said obviously since she had waited close to an hour. sorry!!! i understand that she wasnt in too good a mood that day.

my first recee
yesterday. my morning was boring as usual.. saw the tag from jas so i decided to change another blogskin although i have changed like 3 since last week. cant seem to find that i fancy. there are many skins that are so pretty but the width of the skin is too small and often, my pictures get cut off. this time, i changed my layout. instead of having many pages, i chose one that has everything in a page.
from 1.30pm onwards, i started to get really busy. i went for my lunch with the rest of my colleagues. had only 20 mins cos i had to go recee with my boss and clients for an event. we went to a couple of place; swissotel, fort canning legends, dohby ghaut and toa payoh indoor stadium. i like fort canning legends most. its going to be so much fun. so interesting! the ballroom and the outdoor gazebo. pretty! i like the idea of having both indoor and outdoor.
i got back to the office at 4+pm. i went to the storeroom to check stocks. then, i prepared DOs for the next day delivery. the delivery guy came by and i spent the rest of my day in the store packing the stuff. it was so stuffy and i was perspiring for the first time at work. cos my office is usually so cold, my nails practically turn purple.
the moment i got back to my office from the storeroom, i had to attend to my promoter. i left the office together with marx and jin yi. marx said its the norm when you worked at IMG, you meet your friend(s) at 7 but you'll only be there at 8.30pm or so. =(
cai feng and i went for dinner at swensens. and thereafter, it was too late for anything else. all the shops were closed and i had to work the next day. so, he went to meet his friends and i went home.

boring boring..my day has been pretty peaceful.. im glad the sampling session has finally ended. as in really ended. the last time was a false alarm.i have been having a sweet tooth lately. munching on snacks, sweets and ice cream way too much. time to cut down. i think i wouldnt have the courage to step on the weighing machine. maybe i should start substituting snacks for fruits. so much for leading a healthy lifestyle (one of my 2006 resolution). im too lazy to exercise..i havent seen reys in a long long time. miss her so. which is why im going to meet her today. yay~!oh! my boss has finally given me my appointment letter yesterday, after one month of chasing. along with the appointment letter came my confirmation letter and pay. im confirmed as a permanent staff! hurray!!!
