I went to work as usual.. Busy busy day at work.. Called Angela during lunch time to ask if she wanna meet up after my work and she said okie.. We decided on fishermans.. After work.. I went to simei to search for flowers but there wasnt anything that I suppose she would fancy.. So I went to the florist at century to try my luck.. I manage to get blue rose for her.. Then I went to swensens to get her favourite black forest..
I took a cab to her place.. On the way to her house at the void deck.. I met my bro.. So coincidental.. I continued walking towards the stairs after exchanging a few words.. Suddenly.. I realised I dont have a lighter.. So I borrowed one from my bro.. I was really lucky.. I wouldnt know what to do if I didnt see him.. I had to take the stairs cos I was afraid she would see me if I took the elevator.. When I was at 5th floor.. I tried to put the candles on the cake but it was too hard and I was too nervous.. My hands were trembling.. I ended up breaking a candle and a chocolate decor.. Haha.. To think of it.. I feel so stupid.. Im the one who wanna surprise Angela but I ended up to be more nervous.. I called her to tell her I was reaching.. Immediately after I hang up the call.. I lighted up the candles.. I sat down on the stairs.. She came out and was saw me sitting on the stairs looking rather surprised.. But I only succeeded half of it cos I was so nervous that I couldnt sing her a birthday song.. I told her I was very nervous and that she could just make a wish and blow out the candles.. Later.. I joined her and her family and Jeff for dinner at a coffeeshop near her house.. We went back to her house after dinner.. I cut the cake when she was showering.. Ken finally came at around 10.30.. Jeff and Angela went to get drinks and titbits at a 7-eleven around pasir ris.. They brought along a bottle of vodka.. We actually intended to go fishermans but since they bought so many stuff.. We went to the park instead.. There was four of us.. Jeff and ken just got to know each other.. The usual scene is guys listen while gals talk since we are sistas.. But it wasnt so.. The guys talk while we listen.. They got more stuff to talk than us.. So hilarious.. Basically talk about bike and the past.. We hang around till about 1.30 when it started drizzling.. Ken send jeff and angela home.. On the way.. I called my bro but he was already asleep.. I knew I was doom.. I didnt wanna call home cos I was afraid that my aunt would scold me like she always do and I dun wana wake anyone up.. I supposed everyone was already sound asleep but I was wrong.. My aunt was waiting for me.. I msg her that I was going back to my house to sleep and she called me.. I picked up her 4th call.. Got lectured.. Ken was sending me to Jurong while my aunt was lecturing on the other side.. I lied that I was already home.. Feel so bad but didnt wanted her to worry and telling her the truth would mean suffering to my ears.. Halfway through.. The call ended due to poor recep.. I called back but she didnt wanna talk to me.. Felt terrible.. When we were reaching my mum's friend place.. She called to ask if ken could send her and her friend home as well cos she was already done with her stuff.. Being a nice guy.. Im sure he wouldnt reject.. Haha.. Anyway it was on the way cos he need to send me home.. I fell asleep and woke up felling pain in my neck.. Got home at 3+.. Took a shower and went to sleep.. But I fell asleep only at 4+..
The next day.. I woke up at 7.30.. Called ken twice and he just woke up.. I told him it was fine and I could go to work myself but he insisted on sending me.. Of cos I wouldnt reject his good offer.. How could I disappoint him.. :X Haha.. He arrived at around 8.45 if I wasnt wrong.. But I went down only at 9.. He went to fetch adeline from tanah merah then drove us to changi biz park.. Im sure I would need coffee to make up for my insufficient sleep.. I didnt wanna doze off at work so I insisted on getting coffee even though I was already late.. He went to get my fav, caramel latte while I waited in the car with adeline.. Got to work only at 9.20.. I msg him slightly after noon to ask him where he was cos I was still at the office which means the only eating place would be closed by the time I finished my work or either there wouldnt be much food left.. I could actually go for lunch at 1.15.. Just before I left my desk.. I remembered I had to finish dubbing a tape before 2 which was a last minute job given to me so I had to stay back to finish up my work.. When I was done.. It was already 1.50.. I told ken that I be down in 15 but he ended up waiting more than 30 mins.. So sorry.. We went simpang bedok.. After lunch.. He sent us back before heading home.. After work I called him.. He was on the way to the east area.. He asked if I wanted to wait for him to fetch me home.. I told him we could go book Angela chalet before I go home.. He was 5 mins late cos he said he would try to reach before 7.. He drove past simei to go pasir ris and it was already 7.20 when we were at simei.. Didnt want him to be late for work so I went home instead.. I think owe him a BIG thank you for everything..
