My cousin, Emily and I went to Sheer Romance at Fareast on Sunday.. She saw this bra.. Its some sort of a lacy tube bra.. It was on offer and customers are not allowed to try it.. She wasnt sure of the size conversion of cm and inch.. With the help of the salesgirl.. She bought 3.. Yellow, red and blue.. She didnt want to buy the blue one cos it didnt had her actual size.. I told her to jus buy cos most prob i b able to fit.. She could try when she gets home if it fits.. If it doesnt.. She can jus passed to me..
Later we went to tampines.. We were on the downriding escalator when I saw a Sheer Romance outlet in tampines mall.. We went in and there was another colour, purple which was not available in the fareast outlet.. Out of all the colours.. I think purple was the nicest.. I told my cousin to buy.. She took out the ones that she bought from Fareast to check the right size.. I realised the size of the blue one is incorrect.. Its supposed to be bigger than my cousin actual size but its smaller.. She checked with the salesgirl what size it is converted to cm.. And indeed its incorrect.. My cousin asked if she could change it for the purple one cos the salesgirl at fareast gave the wrong info.. The salesgirl at Tampines called her supervisor and we were told that we cannot change it.. My cousin fume up and made a big fuss.. I was actually rather embarassed cos it wasnt the fault of salesgirls working in the Tampines outlet.. I whispered to my cousin that they are different outlets and they are innocent.. I told her we could go over to fareast to change.. The salesgirls then told us that we cant change it even if we went to fareast.. This time.. I fume up.. I said it was ridiculous.. Its the salesgirl fault bcos she provided incorrect information and customers are to bear the mistake.. What m i to do with it..? What kinda service is this..? We bought the products less than 2 hours ago and it's new but we cant change..? The salesgirl called her supervisor again and my cousin spoke to her.. The conclusion is still the same.. The reason was they need to do stock count.. And the supervisor said the salesgirl's words are not guaranteed.. Then it's the company's fault.. They should train their staff.. If what they say cannot be guaranteed.. Then why they need salesgirls.. From what I know.. Salesgirls are there to provide customer with help and to provide CORRECT information.. What kinda stupid reason.. Since there's nothing the useless supervisor could do.. My cousin said forget it.. Im not going to patronize your shop again and hung up.. The salesgirls then wrapped up the items my cousin bought from fareast and apologised.. My cousin apologised to them that she is aware that it wasnt their fault..
Their service is actually good.. The salesgirls are friendly and willing to help but their after sales service is fcuk up.. The salesgirl practically ignore you after you make your purchase.. Probably not for everyone but at least for some.. It doesnt matter whether its a sales item or not.. The issue is the service.. An item which you purchased is not exchangable.. It doesnt matter if they have stated it but have they..? NO..! Providing wrong information and customers having to bear the cost of the mistake.. Doesnt it makes the shop a "Hei Dian".. It is just like a shop who cheat customers by giving them false information in hoaxing them to buy then later when customer realise it.. They are told that it not exchangable.. Probably they should learn from other successful companies..
So.. The conclusion is if you want to buy anything from Sheer Romance.. Make sure you buy the CORRECT size..
