a great day for many. haha. i waited long for today. started doing database right from the minute i turned on my computer. was just rushing quietly. managed to finish quite a bit before lunch. satisfaction. got a surprise early in the morning. adeline was back in the office for a project. it was amin who actually found out first.
its airport day today. yesh. which means its subway for lunch. sean made a special appearance. i told him that the sun probably rise from the other side today. haha. adeline and i shared one foot long. after lunch. we went to ntuc to check out if they sell boxes of soupy snack. then adeline and i took the shuttle bus back while ness took a train with sean.
back at work. suddenly thought of playstation 2 that i actually wanted to get for keong. so i went into ebay but i couldnt find the one that i saw previously. :( its always the case. when you have the money. the thing is sold out. but i managed to find a playstation 2 selling rather cheap. i remembered reyers bought her handphone from the net. so i asked her where did she go to and she told me yahoo. started to search in yahoo and saw the cameras selling cheap. was really interested in some of them. after a long consideration. i cut down from 8 choices to 4 choices. decided to put it aside since i have not been doing work since i came back from lunch.
after work. adeline accompanied me to tampines. intended to get pandan cake from polar but the area where the polar used to be is under renovation. i ended up buying from bengawan solo. adeline was hungry so we decided to get something to share. quite a number of new stalls. we came acrossed this stall selling food originated from taiwan. we settled for chicken cutlet. we had to queue and pay first. the lady would then pass a queue number to us. we waited for more than 15mins for one bloody chicken cutlet that doesnt taste good at all. first its not brown in colour. its like white colour or rather light yellow. then it tasted like flour and you can taste that its not marinated. its not crispy and some pieces were actually uncooked. the more you eat the more you wana puke. the oil makes you get sick of it really fast.
it was already dark when we stepped out of tampines mall. and it actually made me feel lazy to take a bus. i walked adeline to the traffic light before taking a cab home. got home and i went straight into the room. i actually planned to surprise granny with the cake but she saw it when she entered the room. :( dinner was chicken rice with no chicken. in substitution for the chicken was kfc chicken. we also had pepperoni pizza. hawaiian pizza and garlic chicken wings from pizza hut and brewed soup.
after dinner. i went to the master bedroom to watch television. at 9pm. i shifted to my uncle's room to watch the 9pm drama. not very nice but nothing else to watch. was already sleepy by 10pm but alaric is not back yet. so we still cant sing birthday song and cut cake. was lying on the bed talking to keong when i heard the door opened. immediately i springed out from bed and removed the cake from the box. placed the candle. i helped to cut and distribute the cake after the celebration. waited 20 minutes before showering.
