balloon day
woke up at 8am. showered. prepared. made a trip home and to my cuzy's place. bought breakfast for her. met keong at eml's place downstairs. together we walked to the bus stop and took the bus to parkway. arrived at around 11.10. no more mac donalds breakfast. :( we went to the food centre and see what we could have. cos there is definitely no breaks for us. by the time he bought the food. it was 11.20. we shared a plate of bee hoon since there was no time and we gobbled the food in like 5 minutes. fast huh? haha.then we called the person-in-charge and he was still on his way. -_-''' saw uncle harry and called him. because of that. poor keong had to help uncle harry carry some magnets which were freaking heavy. haha. at 11.50. nobody had arrived. we were afraid they couldnt see us. keong and i moved the boxes of freaking heavy magnets outside standard chartered. waited and waited. finally roger arrived. then the tanks and the other 2 staff from comcepts. roger. eugene and the other guy (i dont know his name cos he didnt intro himself) filled the balloons with helium and attached them to the strings while keong and i gave out the magnets and balloons. pretty fun cos the kids are all so lovely and cute. but 2 hours later. we were all tired. roger left soons after. and we helped in pumping the balloons. eugene self proclaimed that he is the balloon master. came up with several creative balloons. like a balloon in a balloon. a smaller balloon in a balloon. a small balloon tied up in a balloon. 2 small balloons tied up in a balloons and 3 small balloons tied up in a balloon. we managed to distribute 1 1/2 packets of balloons and 1 1/2 box of magnets in 5 hours. was fatigue and sticky from the perspiration at the end of it.after work. we went to parkway and was deciding what to have for dinn. ended up going to giant and bought food home. was so so tired i requested to take cabby home. got home. cut and prepared the ingredients for dinn. practice makes perfect. we are getting better and faster each time. the end results of our hard work. the best chicken stew and wedges with specially formulated sauce. yums! after dinn. we watched channel 5 which was showing missing people. i fell asleep as usual. got up and went home. showered and fell asleep soons after.
