a whole line of programs after keong's 12 long days of work. its time to pamper ourselves.
first up was metro warehouse sales. keong met me at my place at 10.45. we took a bus to the metro warehouse sales and bought 2 handbags. one for me and one for eml (my cuzy). oh! i also bought 2 footwear during lunch time on friday.
thereafter we took a bus to downtown for lunch. eml recommended the place to us. sakura international buffet. quite a wide spread of food. spagetthi, sashimi, sushi, teppanyaki, claypot, fried food, shark fins, cream of chicken, salads, mussels, oysters, drinks, desserts, ice cream... shall upload the pictures soon. we ate rather orderly. one plate at a time. by the time we left the restaurant, it was already 2.15.
due to bloatiness, we had to walk to the mrt station to allow the food to digest a lil. we went to whitesand's ntuc to buy tissue cos i cant survive without tissue. haha. when we walking towards the cashier. keong and i saw this cuddly strawberry. he insisted on buying it for me. i shall put it in my new home. hehe.
i bought a new ezlink card. yesh. i forgot to bring mine as usual. we took the train to town. second stop. ck tangs. we tried quite a couple of jeans and finally decided on 3 jeans. two for me and one for keong. simply love our new jeans. yay~! keong jeans was too short so he had to send it for altering. we went to lucky plaza to get his jeans altered.
meanwhile we went to buy our eau de toilette. i bought hugo boss shimmer edition and he got a issey miyake summer. then we went to far east to get our customized caps. his cap was red and black and mine was purple and black. again. while waiting for our caps. we went to wisma to get his tee-shirt. he didnt want to get his tee but being the stubborn me. i insisted that he get his tee. after looking at a few. we finally bought a black tee with a picture in gold. finally. we went to get his jeans then our caps. im satisfied with the colour combination of my cap and hes satisfied with his as well.
we were tired from all the walking from afternoon to night. keong suggested taking a cab home. we got home at 8+. unpacked all the stuff we bought, arranged them nicely and took pictures of them. haha.
dinner was "zhu bi" (thai rice) with thai styled minced pork and soup. "zhu bi" in simple terms is glutinous rice. he finished all the minced pork. mum came back soon. we were all sitted in the living room watching 2002 on channel 8. halfway through i nearly fell asleep. after the show, keong walked me home before going home.
we had a superb time shopping. i have never shopped like that in my entire life. though everything was not as plan, we actually missed 2 stops which is cineleisure and bugis. but still. we enjoyed ourselves. thanks darl!
