yet another great weekend
reys is back~! didnt went to the airport cos her arrival time was 11+. but i did call her thou she was busy.anyway i had a great but not so great weekend. haha.Saturday. i woke up at 8+. showered and went home home. met keong opposite my gate. mummy was still cooking brunch. we went to buy the necessary stuff and had a lil breakfast while waiting for my bro who was still sleeping. last night. he had asked me to wake him this morning but i tot he would give it a miss. so i didnt bother. when he got home home. he asked why didnt i wake him up. i lied that i did but he didnt wake up. :Xwhen we were all set. i went downstairs to get 3 cans of coke. we took a cab to the "ZHANG" association. mummy and i suddenly remembered we forgot about the fruits. keong and i had to buy them while mummy and bro went up. we were paying visit to my daddy and grand-daddy. not that i know who my grand-daddy is cos i have never seen him. we folded the notes while waiting for daddy and grand-daddy to have their lunch. managed to fold all that we bought. after we offer incense. we proceeded downstairs to burn the notes.next up was lunch. couldnt recall the street to the dim sum place. so i msged ken to ask him. we walked approximately 7 streets under the blazing sun before arriving at the street. feel rather guilty that i had to make mummy walk for such a long distance in the humid weather. when we got to the street. i couldnt find the place. i thought i was at the wrong street so i msged ken to ask him yet again. after he confirmed its the right street. i tried the other side which the shop happened to be there. after so long. we finally found the place. mummy gave all of us a ride to bugis. bro was looking for pressies alone so he joined us. i bought my mini-cards from A n BC. a notebook and pen cos i left the old one in the office. i bought my bro a plastic bulb which changes colour for christmas and a sweet pink dustbin for my new home. then keong brought us to the candle shop. i helped my bro picked 9 candle flowers. we made a nuisance in the shop but keong was the main nuisance. they didnt provide wrapping service cos the person who does the wrapping wasnt around. then keong asked the girl to remove the flowers in one of the bouquet so we could put ours. then he bargained with the sales girl. simply hilarious.after bugis. we went town. bought pressie for jas and at the same time. walked around taka. bought yet another pressie. i was left with limited time so we hurried to taka atrium. walked around and my bro bought a remote-control car and doctor's play kit. i was really late so we walked briskly to somerset. i stood at the pathment while waiting for reys to decide if she wants to meet at cine or hmv. not long later. she called back. just before i met her. i went to the ladies. while we happened to be at the second level. we went to bits and pieces and my bro bought his necklace. keong left and bro and i went to long john. bro joined us cos his friend hasnt arrived. then he told me something that got me anxious. a bunch of more than 10 gangsters are looking for trouble with him. after i went to the ladies. i quickly hold on to him. walked into the mall and exit from the main door cos the gangsters were standing along the railings directly outside long john. i overheard my bro saying over the phone that someone is following us from behind. we walked really fast to the main road. there was no cab and i was getting really anxious. my bro spotted a cab from opposite and we took the cab. the moment we got onto the cab. we were relieved. i called reys to apologise once i got on.my bro dropped me just before turning into the car park cos we were afraid aunt might nag at him for buying so much stuff. i walked home and found only granny and uncle at home. i was on the phone when bro asked me to help him wrapped his pressie. the both of us were busy wrapping in his tiny room. after i was done wrapping his pressie. my aunts wanted me to wrap theirs as well. i was in the mood so i agreed. i wrapped the pressies while watching the tv. talking and listening to aunts. granny and eml. it was already 1.30am while we were happily spent god-knows-how-long together in the living room. after i was done. i showered and went to dreams land.Sunday. i woke up at 9. showered and went for my lesson. was late so keong and i took a cab to eunos mrt. wanted to withdraw money but the atm that used to be there was gone. lesson was fine but needed a lil more control and getting used to. i had to meet keong at eunos cos instructor dropped me off there. he took a cab and fetch me to tampines. had lunch at hans. yucks~! then we went for a lil shopping before taking a bus to east coast. just so happened that the bus we took doesnt bring us there. we dropped one bus stop after the roxy square and walked to another bus stop. took yet another bus and alighted after a few bus stops. before walking the underpass. we went to this mama shop and bought some snacks that we used to eat when we were young.got to east coast. the sky was cloudy and a lil dark. we rented 2 bikes and headed to look for the NSB restaurant. felt a few drops of rain when we were on the way there. it started raining while we were on our way back. had to take shelter. waited till the rain was lighter. we cycled to 7-eleven to look for umbrella. keong stayed outside to look after the bikes while i went in. i bought CLEO. umbrella and a cup of hot mocha for keong. took a video introducing the cup of mocha and the unique thing about the cup. lol. we returned our bikes and started walking to NSB restaurant. saw a few pushcarts and went to take a look. before we went to the restaurant. we got changed at the nearest toilet.we sat at the the second level. loved the atmosphere of the place. we ordered 6 dishes in total. chilli crabs. sambal kang kong. prawn paste chicken. fried fish. hot plate deer meat. salted fish fried rice. had a tough time trying to finish all the food. tried asking so many people to come along earlier in the day- eml, ron, jas, reys, vivian but no one was available. finally finished almost all the food after approximately 2 hours. took a walk before heading to tampines to continue buying christmas pressies. finally found the secret santa gift. slightly over-budget thou. keong walked me home before heading home.had a great weekend. first time im out with my bro for so long without my aunt or mum. though the weather wasnt in our favour but we still enjoyed our day. =) shall upload the pictures soon.
