second time to chinatown
after work, i met keong at the lobby. we took a cab to chinatown. walked around the streets. keong bought me a few accessories - earrings and rings. and i got him 2 more tees for the new year. the tees are at least something different from what he has which is just mainly black. the streets werent as packed as we expected. walked through all the streets if we didnt missed out any. most importantly, the main purpose to chinatown, keong got his pineapple tarts. we also bought jellies. most stalls were selling $1/100gm. we stopped by a stall that was selling at $7/1kg but ended up not buying anything cos the variety was pathetic.finally, we got the jellies, 10 jellies at 10 bucks. ex right? but he gave us another 10 jellies picked randomly for free. =) comparing to the one in bedok, its much cheaper. the last time we bought at bedok, it was like 500gm for $15.by the time we left, the place was so freaking crowded. we took the train back. bought dessert for my family. he waited for a cab with me before heading home.
