beckeon rocks~!
i woke up at 8.30am. took a shower, prepared and left home at almost 10am. i took the shuttle bus to the interchange and took a cab from there.arrived at BBDC at around 10.30am. called keong cos i didnt know how to go in. the cabby had let me off next to a temple. we sat at the reception until he had to go back to the classroom for his results. waited for like an hour before he got his results.it was 12+ when we left. headed home cos he needed to shower. made a number of calls cos he insisted on getting his bike that day.we left home at 3+. took a cab to queensway. many of the motor shops werent open for business. managed to find one but they didnt had phantom. i thought the guy's attitude was rather bad. but whatever!we decided to try our luck at the shops along the main road cos we came upon one motor shop when we made a turn. i thought there wasnt much hope when we were making our way there. but keong said he saw phantom bike. indeed, there were 3 phantom bikes. 1 of them is 2 stroke and 2 of them is 4 stroke. (dont know whether spelt correctly)the letters of the license plates for the 4 stroke bikes were FD and FU. keong said that he has a feeling for the FU bike. anyway, they were selling both at the same price so obviously, most would choose a newer bike.after making a couple of calls and some consideration, keong decided to get that bike. he signed the documents before going to the bank. at the same time, we chose and bought our helmets. we went to anchor point to have lunch while waiting for the technician to fixed everything.when we went back at around 6, the technician was still working on the bike. keong's friend, jeremy popped by. they tested the bike and jeremy said the brake wasnt sensitive enough. he went back to get the technician to work on it.meanwhile, we went to have a drink. we went back to the shop again at 7. finally, we could leave the place. halfway through the ride, we found ourselves stucked at the road shoulder. how great~! called jeremy and waited for him to come. we made our way to a petro station near ubi. checked everything and made sure everything was alright before we hit the road.it was 9.15pm when we got to simei. went to get the "yusheng" that aunt told me get. then we rushed to best denki. it was closed so i called uncle to let him know. keong wasnt in too good a mood so i bought him ice cream to cheer him up. haha. we went back to collect the yusheng and he sent me home.so unbelievable. something that we have been waiting for has finally came true. so excited and happy. we named our bike "beckeon" hurray~! im sure things will get better with beckeon's existence.
