weekend

saturday. lazed in my bed till noon before i got my butt off the bed. headed to granny's place and helped with cooking. we were having porridge and macaroni for lunch and dinner today. i helped my aunt to cut the prawns into half. thereafter, i helped to shred 15 chicken thighs.

after lunch, keong and i were so bored cos there aint anything on television. we started ramaging through the drawer in my room. found a couple of dvds which belongs to eml. i picked 3 and asked keong to choose 1. he chose "the cinderella story".

after the show, we decided to go out for a spin. went to tampines mall. wanted to watch "i not stupid too" but all the earlier show timings were selling fast. didnt even bother to try cos i bet they were left with only first 2 rows seats. we went to century and had fondue. preferred the fondue they had in the past though.

we went home, watched television and had dinner.

sunday. my aunt woke me up at like 9.30am. reluctantly, i took a shower and headed to the temple with aunt jen and uncle. keong was supposed to join us but beckeon just had to stop him from doing so.

after the visit to the temple, we had lunch at a coffee shop just opposite. waited for more than 20mins for 2 bowls of minced meat noodles. i shared a cab with aunt and uncle to grace's place. got there at 12.35pm. lyddie, javvy and choon peng was already there. shi qin came soon after. we had lou hei and mee siam.

grace was saying that if we meet her once every day, we had only 20 more days to see her. *sobs* time flies..

i left her place at 2.30pm. went to a za ba lang shop (which means a shop selling all sorts of things) and bought plastic bowls and plates. then i went to buy lettuce before taking a cab home.

my uncle's family members were all there when i got home. there were so many people. the number of footwear alone is scary enough. i was so bored, i offered to help my granny. keong came soon after.

keong and i spent our time walking in and out, up and down.

marcus' birthday cake came. quite the centre of attraction. the theme of his cake was similiar to the theme of our place. savannah~! the 3kg chocolate chocolate chip ice-cream cake costs close to S$200. i must say its really nice. marcus doesnt seem that happy though. he doesnt know how lucky he is. his cousin, jeremy was telling him "i dont have the chance to have such a cake in my entire life, you're so lucky." haha

the sight of people walking in and out, up and down the house was making keong dizzy. everyone was just doing their own things. there aint a quiet spot at all. i decided to get away and head home. i suggested watching dvd. i made keong choose 1 movie out of the 2 that i have picked the previous day. he chose princess diary 2 but the dvd aint working. so, we are only left with princess diary.
before we could finish the show, my aunt came to ask us to go over for dinner. after dinner, i suggested playing mahjong. alaric, keong, alaric's girlfriend and i started playing mahjong. mervin came to join us and took over alaric's girlfriend. i was surprised to know that mervin was the most pro of us all.

after mervin went back, we played cards till keong had to leave. right after he left, i went home. while waiting for the bathroom, i completed my resume.

a rather boring weekend besides the gathering at grace's place. something happening on saturday though, i had a fall. not badly injured, just a bruised knee. but i got a rather bad shock. *scared* :(
