i was packing my stuff when keong came. i went to granny's place to borrow mahjong table and mahjong from my aunt. then, we went to melville to get the CD player. after we got home, we sat down and chose songs to burn into CDs. burnt 5 CDs but one of them couldnt play.with that, we went to my mum's place to get the rest of the stuff. i proposed to bring a trolley along, the kind which a granny would bring to the market. keong frowned cos he already had lotsa stuff to carry. but still, he gave in to me. we had to think of how are we going to take a cab when we had stuff at two places. had a lil quarrel cos we were both feeling frustrated. but we got it sorted out in no time. we went downstairs to ask if the uncle could help look after our stuff for 15 minutes. thereafter, we carried all the stuff downstairs.took the bike back home. called for a cab and took everything we needed. the merz cab driver was really nice to help us load and unload the stuff.luckily, we had the trolley cos it was great help. keong and i managed to carry the stuff to the reception while ronald helped keong to park his bike. we unpacked the stuff, put whatever we had to into the fridge and cabinet. washed whatever we had to before going out to buy more stuff.but before we could do so, his aunts, uncle, granny and cuzies had came. we went out to pick them. thereafter, his uncle drove us to collect the chicken wings. in the car, i was thinking of an excuse to go to tampines so i could buy an ice cream cake from swensens. i suddenly remembered that they have one outlet at pasir ris. when we got back to downtown, we bought ice, power adpator and brush. while walking back to the chalet, the delivery man for satay called. its like we dont even have time to sit down for a moment. we collected the satay and otah, went back to the chalet to help out. a short while later, i told him to go get his contact lense solution from whitesands. i insisted on going to whitesands although he said theres a watson at downtown. i came up with the excuse "i was bored, i want to go for a walk." how lame.we got saline from an optical shop. i made him get food for his granny while i go "shopping". initally he wanted to go together, but i said we were out of time. i got his cake and met him. as expected, he was surprised.had a lil food before the cake ceremony. the mango ice cream cake was pretty nice. took pictures. didnt had a lot to eat at the barbeque. later, my bro came for food with 3 other friends. after dinner, keong and i put up all the decorations except balloons. rested for awhile, showered. i slept while keong entertained his family.
