bogus interview
the rain yesterday was terrible. thanks to that, keong and i had to spend 40 bucks on cab. there was no way to ride given the bad weather condition so we tried calling for a cab. we called comfort, city cab and smrt. we only managed to get a SMRT cab after 15 to 20mins.to make things worse, the cabby didnt know how to get to my office. i watched while i see people who called for cab later than myself, got up the cabs one after another. by the time i got up the cab, i was already late for the interview. we arrived at the tanjong pajar area around 7.15pm but i only got to the place at 7.30pm. the indian cab driver said he knew his way but he ended up asking 2 person how to get to fuji xerox tower. the cab fare was 18.70 when we finally got there and guess what? he had the cheek to demand full payment when he didnt know his way and had to make a big u-turn, to add on, he caused me to be late. that wasnt it, he accused us of not knowing the name of the building when i already told him from the start. damn~! 5*37 must complain..!okie.. going on..i walked briskly into an elevator which happened to only goes to car parks. -_- i took the elevator back to 1st floor and found my way to the lobby, signed in and went up to level 6. i was puzzled when i see prudential assurance company, i went downstairs and asked the security. he told me fuji xerox is on level 3. so, i went up to level 3 and called the interviewer to ask which level. i knew i made a wasted trip when he said 6. i cant possibly leave just like that, i have to at least let him know. a kind lady opened the glass door for me, i sat on the sofa and waited for 5 mins. he came out with a piece of paper which looks familiar. it has personality traits and boxes on it, i remember i did the other time. he led me into a room after i apologised for being late. the moment i sat down, i asked if the job is related to prudential because i have been to a similar interview and im not keen in insurance.the next minute, i was out of the glass door. sarah said i've improved~! yay! cos i rejected instead of sitting through another 2 hours of interview.keong came to pick me up to meet up with choon peng. we happened to see choon peng when the cabby went the wrong way. i have received my first birthday pressie from my bestie, Grace and Choon Peng. a white fossil watch. i like~! i managed to talk to grace for awhile thanks to choon peng. it was nice to hear her voice.before i forget, im celebrating my birthday at downtown east coasta sands this saturday! ALL my friends are invited, esp. secondary and poly friends, call or tag me for more details cos i lost most of my contacts along with my handphone. :( have a good day~!
