farewell treat, gifts and hugs
the interview went fine. not very wonderful, not very bad..right after the interview, penny drove hazel and i to parkway. we had lunch at some japanese restaurant. then, we went to do some shopping individually. i bought farewell gifts for cathy and isabelle, to thank them for looking out for me and helping me in every way.back in the office, elisa told me i had a vase of sunflowers. i knew it was from the marcom team. hazel also gave me a farewell gift from the marcom team - tiffany & co. necklace. felt kind of sad and heavy hearted. if given a choice, i would wished to stay on. i spent my last few hours drafting some messages to be written on cards for the marketing peeps. had a last meeting with hazel and michelle. michelle and i waited in the preview room for like half an hour after the meeting for the machines. when we could finally use it, the method i usually used doesnt work. what a mentor! :\at 6pm, i was still in the office writing cards. it was really nice of keong to get me 2 more roses and cards cos i was short of them. he waited patiently at the lobby while i busily packed my stuff and made sure i havent left anything behind. i finally left the office at 7.52pm with like 2 paper bags, a hand bag and a vase of lovely sunflowers. its a pity i didnt have the time to take pictures with them but their hugs were more than enough. aww.. im missing them already. :(
