the long weekend
fri. cos of the rain, i stayed home the whole morning. in the afternoon, keong and i took the shuttle bus to tampines. we borrowed 4 vcds; beauty shop, the perfect man, my boyfriend is B-type and one more chinese show. then, we went to get lunch. bought bread and pastries from breadtalk, yaki tori, taco pachi and shaker fries.
we saw eml while waiting for the shuttle bus. so, that was our afternoon, buying lunch and watching beauty shop.
we had dinner at his place. after dinner, we intended to print some pictures with my canon printer and lappy. but somehow, my lappy failed me. so depressing..! my documents, files and pictures.. :_( i hope my uncle can saved them.
sat. my cuzy, alaric came to our room to wake eml and i up. i got up and showered while eml continued sleeping. we left home at 10+ for the imperial treasure restaurant at taka. had so much food; pineapple bun, prawn dumplings, siew mai, pork dumpling, chicken feet, pork rib, porridge, shark-fins dumpling soup, roasted goose, chee cheong fan with prawns... ...
being the birthday girl, everyone treated me like a princess. haha. =D no one reprimanded me for whatever i do. not even my uncle. everyone gave in to me, thats including eml, the queen. yay~! if only its my birthday everyday. so pampered. :X
after the satisfying and filling lunch, eml, keong and i went shopping with granny and aunt. we went to aussino at paragon to buy towels. for once, i get to choose the colours before eml. feel so good. i got purple and pink bath towels, which left eml with 2 colours; turqoise and cream. she took the cream and got the turqoise for alaric.
we left while eml waited for her friend at paragon. we went to centrepoint, i bought a berms, loose-powder and liquid foundation. we got home in the late afternoon. keong and i went to his place. we went to the night market. somehow, i have a thing for night markets although they are generally the same. in summary, we bought 2 caps, a pair of sunglasses, disney monopoly, lotsa food and our favourite fruit, jambu.
dinner was bites and munches of food amidst monopoly. i was so engrossed in the game (because i was the BIG winner), i refused to go home. i agreed to end the game only when keong was left with nothing. :X so mean.. but i like~! haha
keong insisted on sending me home. before we left his place, he asked if i wanted a jacket though i was already wearing double layer. i supposed the wind would be freezing so i wore it. few minutes after we started the journey, we laid on the road with wounds and bruises. thanks to a comfort cabby who disregard safety just because there was a passenger. stupid cab-driver~! to make things worse, the malay cab-driver with the license no. 74*6 was not the least guilty. he didnt apologise for his abrupt, incomplete lane changing. he said "its an accident and its either your fault or my fault. we just take down each other's license plate and report if you want."
for a moment after i fell, i sat on the road cos my knee didnt allow me to get up. a kind biker (around our age) got off his bike and helped keong pushed beckeon to the side. after keong shouted at the cabby continously, he left. we went to mobil to get plasters and at the same time, get washed up. a compassionate malay girl behind the counter asked if we needed bandage. she took out their first aid box and told us the way to the toilets. after we got our dressings, we went to see a doctor before going to the police post. thereafter, he sent me home.
sun. i bought lunch and took a cab to keong's place. after lunch, we went to look for a bike shop to replace his broken mirror. the one just around his place was closed so we had to go to bukit batok.
after replacing his mirror, keong suggested going to sheng siong to get bandage and food. we bought lotsa junk food - watermelon, jellies, cheezels.. before proceeding to the cashier, keong noticed the sky was dark. before we knew, it started raining heavily. whose great idea? given the situation we were in, we decided to take a cab.
we spent the afternoon watching the perfect man. we left his place at 7+ and headed to eileen's place. on our way to her place, it started raining AGAIN~! dammit! when will it ever stopped raining? im so sick of getting wet each time i start a journey with clean, dry clothes. we left her place after having the cake.
needless to say, it rained again on our way back. after we got to his place, we took turns to shower before we watched a chinese vcd (i forgot the title). then, i went home at 11+.

Wishing you all the best in everything and may you stay happy and cheery always!all in all, i've received 3 red packets and a key pendant with necklace from my family, fossil watch from my lovely bestie and choon peng (so fond of it!), a guess bag from the gals (love it~!), a billabong bag from vincent, a adidas bag from amily, a ring from rachel, a set of lingerie from lin and suvin, a set of crown accessories from angela (im either wearing the belt or ring at all times!), a skirt from hazel and lotsa blessings.. thanks vanessa, wei liang, qin, lyd, ken, cai feng, alvin kor, alvin, eileen, lin, reys, angela, hazel, john and keong for all your messages. and also for all those who came to my party. your presence meant more than the pressies. not forgetting, the surprised call from my bestie. i appreciated it so much~! Love you all~! =Dim a happy gal..!
