keong admitted to hospital
keong came to pick me up for my interview. got there a few minutes late. i filled up an application form and waited for awhile before the interview, which lasted less than 5 minutes.
after the interview, i accompanied keong to see his family doctor. we managed to get there before their lunch break. phew! but the bad news: keong had to go to the hospital as soon as possible. after we got the letter of referral and made the payment, we went to his place.
while we waited for his parents to shower and dressed up, i slept for a while. i took a cab with keong and his god-daddy. we arrived at the hospital at around 2.30pm. had to go through so many procedures; registration, brief check-up done by the nurse, doctor’s consultation, x-ray, bone surgeon’s consultation, admission registration, blood test and drip, waited for the nurse to escort us to the ward (took a long long time), waited for nurse to bring clothes and towel, waited for doctor to do check-up.
by the time he got settled down, it was almost 8pm, which means the whole procedure took like 5 hours plus. everyone left after the visiting hour which is 8.30pm. i took a cab home for dinner.
