first day at work
i took the 8am bus and got to the office at 9.10am. while the door of the elevator was closing, i saw this guy running over. i quickly press on the open door button. it so happened that he is one of my colleague. he got me seated at the hotdesk. there was only 3 persons including myself. i wondered for a while whats the official working time.anyway, everybody started coming in between 9.36am to 9.45am, except for one at 11+. i was just seating at the hotdesk doing nothing cos no one has come to tell me what to do. later, this lady, who im supposed to take over came to explain to me where are the documents placed and what are the projects that are happening.at 1+, another female colleague came by to ask me to go out for lunch with them cos we had a meeting later on. right after lunch, we went to the office where we were supposed to have the meeting at. my 2 colleagues were friendly and sincere. i get along fine with them. the meeting lasted till 5+.back at the office, i helped my colleague with some data collation. my official working time ends at 6.30pm but i only left the office at 7.45pm. felt bad to make reys wait so long. and the worse part is, no one appreciates. on my way to meet reys, i messaged my boss to ask if i could be excused tomorrow cos i had a lesson and it was too late to cancel (3 days in advance). he said okie. happily, i made plans to meet up with reys tomorrow, part of which to make up for my lateness.we went for dinn at long john as per normal. i accompanied her till joan came.other than the unappreciated gesture, my first day at work was pretty fine.
