I've got a job!!!
i took the 9am bus to the train station. i got to harbourfront at 10am. 5mins later, i was at the information counter. the lady in the counter said she had to confirmed with whoever im meeting before she could let me in. i was already late and the lady said i had to hold on cos the line is engaged. was getting anxious and irritated so i decided to buy the $3 admission ticket. its like who wants to cheat your $3 ticket la?! argh..
i took the shuttle bus and alighted at the next bus stop, walked to the office and had to wait awhile. the front desk receptionist guided me to the next office building. again, i waited for some time. after i was seated in the room, i had to wait for the manager. while waiting, the hr passed me an application form that i have sent online. im supposed to check if the details are correct before signing. the position on the application was marketing support coordinator but i remembered the person who called had told me it was events executive. so, i cancelled the marketing support coordinator and wrote events executive.
during the interview, the hr told me the position that im interviewing for is marketing support coordinator. and this person is to help the technical sub- department in the marketing department. i rated 4/5 when she asked the suitability of the job. it was 11+ when i left.i headed to my next interview location, paya lebar. i had to walked 15mins before i found the place. the positions available were sales executive and event/pr executive. i said i prefer event/pr executive although he mentioned aries are good salesperson. i was shocked when he told the editor to give me an assignment on the spot. i had to write a 50 words essay with the pointers given. total siansness! stress! till now, my day is bad.thereafter, i walked back to the train station. i was wondering if i should go home. if i were to go home, i would leave 1/2 hour later which is dumb. but if i go directly to the next interview location, i'll be an hour early. after some thought, i went to my next interview location. walked like 15 - 20mins from the bus stop. during the journey, i rec eived a call. a familiar mobile number.. i've got a job!!! and im starting tomorrow. but since i was already on my way for my 3rd interview, i might as well just go for it.i waited more than 1/2 hour for the interviewer. didnt really liked the working environment. the office lights are dim and it makes the entire office looks dull, not condusive.with that, i called the last interview company and told them i've been offered a job. yay!!! no more travelling around for interviews. no more answering the generally same questions. no more waiting of phonecalls. no more naggings from family. before i went home, i booked the tennis court for tomorrow and bbq pit on 13 july. waited like 20mins cos the guard wasnt around. but its okie cos im a happy girl today!
