power 98 event (day 3)
i met reys at around 1 pm at scotts. we had lunch at the food court.
after lunch, we walked out the food court and were welcomed by heavy rain. reys decided to wait till the rain gets lighter before we walked over.
it was still raining quite heavily when we were at wisma. no one from the office was at the booth yet. we waited almost an hour before the rain got lighter. when we were in the booth, we waited another 2 hours before we decided to borrow brollies from the power 98 crew.
so, you can imagine, we were like carrying a brolly in one hand and holding on to a tray on the other.
later in the day, an auntie in her 40s came. apparently, she had came the day before and reys saw her putting our pens into her bag. anyway, she asked if there was a limit to the number of lucky draw coupons and i told her no. so, happily she filled in the lucky draw coupons while she kept drinking our coffee and chocolate. she drank like 20 cups can? reys got quite irritated, eu told me to take the coupons away which was just in front of the auntie. after i took them away, i gave them out to the passer-bys. the auntie then walked up to me and requested some. i gave her a couple. after she filled them in, reys told me that she was walking towards me. scared, i walked into the booth. i peeked out and saw her standing some distance outside our booth staring at us. before she left, eu said she kept saying “you girls are pathetic.” eu replied “you are also pathetic!” what an auntie. we didnt stopped her from drinking so many cups, not anyone of us, yet she claims we are pathetic. -_-'''
after work, all of us left with like more than 10 bottles of lays, chocolate ice latte and coffee ice latte. i must say it was enjoyable working with reys and eu, the chatting, gossiping and all. time passed relatively fast the past couple of days. thanks reys for asking me and thanks eu for the job offer.
