rey's independence celebration
i woke up reluctantly. i was feeling so unorganised, i just had to make a trip to the office. spent like more than an hour in the office and i still havent got everything settled.
i left the office around 3.15pm, took a cab to wisma. got rey's birthday pressie and headed off to meet her at harbourfront. i did something damn dumb, im not going to mention. anyway, we were supposed to exit where the interchange was but somehow, we exited to the mall.
we had lunch at macs before going to the supermarket to get some extra stuff. then, she accompanied me while i went to buy her birthday card. i know its dumb but it would be just as obvious if i told a lie. and its just a birthday card which i thought was nothing to be secretive about. in fact, she chose it.
we took a cab to the entrance. took a couple of pictures while waiting for chanel. we spent the afternoon playing a couple rounds of mahjong, watching tv and taking a stroll to the beach.
in the evening, py started the fire at the bbq pit. everyone else came, her family and friends.
later in the night, yx, joan and i slept while eu, cai, reys, ying ying, chanel and py played mahjong. was woken up by reys at 4am to play games together with them. was feeling reluctant cos i was cold. the damn blanket has holes in it and how is supposed to keep people warm. it defeats the purpose though it does help a teeny weeny bit.too lazy to edit the pics. so here goes..
