gifts exchange
i met up with keong, grace, choons and mei. we had teppanyaki for dinner. then, we went shopping at ck tangs, surprisingly still open at 9.30pm. what followed was hilarious..i wanted to get a braun buffel wallet for keong (xmas pressie) so grace to told the guys to shop themselves cos we wanted to get girl's stuff. then we went up to lvl 3, manged to make a decision like within 5 mins with grace's and mei's help. (got to hurry cos i was afraid they might come up) then, i called keong to let them know we were done and we'll meet at the perfume section. he said "dont come down yet. er.. we are not there." too bad! grace and mei was already halfway down the escalator. an idiot can also guess whats going on. we spotted them from the escalator but didnt walked over immediately.i spotted shu umera from the place we were standing (tot of getting lash curler for grace cos hers is spoilt) while waiting for the guys so i told grace and mei i'll be in front. while walking over, i past by mac and bought the lash curler from them instead. damn gan qiong la! after the purchase (with everything in my bag), i called grace. they were with the guys. when i walked over, everyone were laughing in an arkward manner. i was lost but i knew they were up to something. keong said "one by one." he brought me to the dkny counter to try the red apple.keong: "nice?"me: "okie lo" (intentionally) many voices: "say nice." keong (something like that, cant rmb e exact words): "got free gift."
the sales lady behind the counter passed me a paper bag while saying "this is a free gift for you, merry christmas." yea right. free gift.. i asked him while following behind choons and grace "christmas present?" he replied yar and i passed him the box containing the wallet. looking surprised, he said "what?" and he told grace "she damn cool la, she passed the box to me like that (re-enact). i didnt even know what is it."we came to the ck counter. similarly, grace was asked to try the ck euphoria.choons: "nice?" grace: " yar. very nice"
keong: "never ask for free gift?"
grace (chuckling): "got free gift?"
the sales lady passed her a paper bag. lastly, while walking away from the counter, i passed her the lash curler. damn hilarious la. 5 person standing nowhere laughing non-stop. unusual gift exchange experience. haha
