after a day of rest at home, it was back to work. i have tons of work waiting for me to complete. cant afford to take so many days mc if im thinking of getting my confirmation.
i have been avoiding all food with diary content and its seriously not easy. no macs breakfast, bread, eggs, chocolate, ice cream, not even pocky.
friday morning, my mum, keong and i send my brother off for his enlistment at tekong. he was supposed to leave for the shuttle bus at pasir ris between 9 to 9.30am, but he wasnt dressed proper so they made him get another pair of jeans. at 9+am, where on earth can he buy a pair of jeans? he went home to change while we had macs breakfast. all i had was hashbrown and a lil apple pie, ate the filling and left half the crust.we took the 10am bus, together with his good friend, mum and gf. while the enlistees went for their briefing, we were brought around for a tour. we went to the medical centre, the bunks, the coy rest room. then, we were brought to the auditorium, where a video was played. after a boring speech, the enlistees took the oath. finally, we had some time with my brother over lunch.it was almost 3pm when we arrived back at pasir ris. i took the train to work and got to the office at 3.30pm, 2.5 hours late. for that, i had to work till late night.saturday morning, my mum, keong and i went to pay my dad a visit, his 13th year death anniversary. after we pay our offerings, we went home and had lunch. keong guided me to raffles city shopping centre car park before he went to work. many hours later, i wasnt even half done. the sky was getting dark so i decided to continue the next day. with keong's help, i managed to find my way home. my first time travelling long distance alone (the furthest i went alone was tampines). i was travelling on the left lane on ECP when i felt something hit my shoulder. for fear that the bike will wobble, i didnt turn to look immediately, it might be a stone i thought. when i was more stable, i turned to look and i saw this brown oval bug on my jacket. i freaked out. then i muster my courage and swept the bug away with my hand. immediately, it send shivers down my spine. i felt so disgusted, i kept rubbing my hand against my pants. at 9pm, i arrived at simei safely. i went to get supper for my aunt before making my way home.
