late night movie
saturday evening, keong came to my place to bring me to sengkang to meet up with a friend for a short while. we got lost somewhere in sengkang so he called up his friend to ask for directions. keong had just turned right, at a one-way left turn lane, and stopped at the chevron marking at the centre divider, when a TP stopped right in front of him. i hesitated before turning right to join him. we were given a warning to be more cautious before we were allowed to go. phew!
after the short meetup, we headed to orchard. reys and bertram came 10 mins later. we bought tickets for 200 pounds at 12.30pm. then, we went to our usual hangout at NYDC.
at 2.30am, the show ended and i was surprisingly still very much awake. we were joking earlier on that if i was tired, i would leave the bike at the carpark and take a cab home. the show was nicer than i thought. lotsa funny scenes. the storyline is about this korean girl, who is talented but fat and ugly. she sang backstage for the "singer", emily, who is not talented but pretty and sexy. on one occasion, she was criticised and she felt so depressed, she tried to commit suicide, which wasnt successful. so she decided to go for plastic surgery from head to toe. after a year of recovery, she looked like shes a natural beauty. she went for the audition to sing for emily and she got herself a contract, under her new name "Jenny". the director, whom shes in love with, soon found out about her real identity and she admitted herself to all her fans at her first concert. everyone forgave her and she became more popular than ever, with her real identity, KANG Hanna. i like happy endings!! =D
once again, keong guided me home before he made his way home. thank you for the patience!!!
