on saturday, i spent my day with the loveliest people. we had awesome ramen at central mall, followed by lovely surprises by lovely people back in merchant court and partying at rebel! special thanks to bert for providing us with the awesomest music. and BIG thank you to all for making time!! i love the album lots!!!
on sunday, i watched the movie "the handsome suit". it was pretty enjoyable. after the movie, i had dinner in the sky.

good food and good company. we had high tea at l'espresso. i remember having it with shiqin sometime last year and i didnt thought it was fantastic. but based on the good reviews i heard, i thought i should try it again. but i still didnt think it was fantastic.

we went to dempsey after dinner, only to find the place to be pretty dead and quieter than we expected on a tuesday night.
15/04/2009, wednesday. i went to pay my respects to my dad with mummy and i think my dad liked my hp so much, he took it away from me. =p (i know that is so me, blur as usual)
anyway, i thought i'll bring mummy to yhingthai palace for lunch at purvis st to try the thai food. but my mummy is very particular about thai food, apart from the stuffed chicken wings, she says she can cook better than them. haha. but it's true my mum's lad mu/gai tastes better. who doesnt love mummy's cooking?
after i sent mummy to work, i went to tampines mall to get my replacement sim card and a new phone. after much consideration, i decided to take up my bestie's suggestion, the iphone. so with that, i got myself a 16GB white iphone at $508, with 2 years plan.
following, i went to sing together at loyang point - the ktv i visited since i was 17 if i'm not wrong. davis came by too at around 7.30pm, to pass me my pressie - christian dior eau de toilette. thanks davis! the ktv session was supposed to end at 8pm but we left at 7.40pm. the lady boss wanted to charged davis the full price (for half an hour) but i argued with her, so in the end, we left. i'm so going to boycott that ktv. so much for patronising them for like 7 years. at times like that, i wouldnt do what she did, to upset a customer cos there are more and more competitors now and economic is not doing as well. kbox has just opened a new outlet in downtown east, and not forgetting their location at a less accessible shopping centre.
with that, i left for dinner at the gran's. we had fish curry (requested by me), vegetable soup and pork ribs! chocolate ice cream cake for a sweet ending..
that marks the end of my short break.. but the celebration goes on..
