happy labour day!
today also happens to be my mummy's 49th birthday. my bro, apple and myself have been getting ourselves busy trying to plan a surprise. i sourced for the best place to get her cake while they collected it. cake - done!
next up, present. i went to nearby tampines mall with the intention to get her a wallet and also to check out the new tampines 1 shopping mall. didnt manage to find something suitable at tampines 1, i went to isetan and bhg but still, nothing caught my eye. with limited time, i decided to get her a watch instead. that wasnt too hard a choice to make since there was only 2 shops and the bonus was, they were having discounts on selected watches for mothers' day promotion. present - done!
lastly, what's a party without food. we ordered pizza hut, one of my mummy's random craving. my bro's friends came to join in the celebration too. my bro called when he and mummy were on their way back. we turned off all the lights to give the impression that no one was home. then we hid in my mummy's room with the cake. it took her awhile to open the door to the room cos along the way, she played with the dog. our first ever surprise to mummy! and i could tell she is really happy. i hope she'll always be happy and healthy.
